Morning - Arrival and Introduction: As the sun rises, you arrive at the picturesque beekeeping farm, greeted by the friendly beekeepers and the soft hum of busy honeybees. After a warm welcome and a safety briefing, you slip into a comfortable beekeeper's suit, complete with gloves and a protective veil, ensuring a safe and enjoyable day.

The day is split down into several intervals starting with the bee basics, learning how colonies work, and communicate and their life cycle. Followed by a look into
the life of a beekeeper.

Accompanied by experienced beekeepers, you approach the beehives nestled among blooming flowers and lush greenery. Feel the thrill as you gently open the hives and peer inside, witnessing the incredible world of bees in action. Observe the mesmerizing dance of bees as they collect nectar and create honeycomb masterpieces. You'll learn about the different roles of worker bees, drones, and the queen, and gain a deeper understanding of the hive's complex social structure.

Savour a delectable spread of the most exquisite honey produced right there. As you taste different varieties of honey, each with its unique flavour profile, you'll gain a newfound appreciation for the intricacies of the bees' foraging habits and the diverse floral sources they visit.

THE NEW SEASON STARTS AGAIN IN MAY AND RUNS UNTIL SEPTEMBER. WE ARE CLOSED OVER THE WINTER MONTHS. 

Courses Start at 10am for Full and Half Days.

Full Days run 10am while 4pm
Half Days run 10am while 1pm

There is a small café on site, where you can purchase snacks, and drinks.
