Adopt a Hive: Gift Box

Adopt one of our honeybee hives – a thoughtful, lasting gift for anyone who loves bees, nature or a really good jar of honey.

When you adopt a hive with More Bees Please, you're directly supporting the care of a real colony of native British honeybees and the beekeepers who look after them. Your recipient gets a beautifully packaged adoption gift box, honey from their very own hive, and news from the apiary throughout the year.

What you get in the gift box

• A personalised, full-colour adoption certificate
• Details of your adopted hive: the hive's name and which apiary it lives in
• Hive facts: the type of honeybee, the age of the hive and the age of the queen
• What your hive is doing at the time of adoption
• Jars of raw British honey from your adopted hive – choose 3 jars (£45) or 6 jars (£60)

Seasonal updates from your hive – no need to ask

We'll email you photo updates from your hive through the beekeeping year – in spring, in summer and at harvest time – so you can see how your colony is getting on. You're always welcome to ask for an extra update at any time by emailing howsmyhive@gmail.com or via our live chat.

Sending it as a gift

At checkout, simply enter the recipient's address as the shipping address and we'll post the gift box directly to them – or send it to yourself if you'd prefer to hand it over in person.

• Recipient's name – as you'd like it to appear on the certificate
• Hive name – if you'd like to suggest one
• Gift message – a short message to include with the gift

Last order date for Christmas delivery of posted gift boxes: Friday 18 December 2026. Need something later? Our Adopt a Hive E-Certificate is emailed, so it's a perfect last-minute gift.
